Amazon faces labor dispute in Italy over Malpensa transfer

Amazon is facing a labor dispute in Italy regarding its decision to transfer logistics activities from Malpensa airport to Montichiari. The move threatens the jobs of nearly 200 workers currently managed by Mle. Following previous meetings that were boycotted by Amazon and the new contractor Gda, the Prefect of Varese has summoned Amazon directly to a meeting scheduled for August 12 to address the employment crisis.
