Amazon Germany rolls out Visa credit‑card bonus and expands schufa‑free installment payments

During Prime Day 2026 (June 23‑26), Amazon Germany will promote its Amazon Visa credit card with a start‑up credit of up to €50 for Prime members and €10 for non‑Prime customers. The bonus is applied only after the application is approved, the contract is digitally signed and the card is used for the first purchase, after which the amount is credited automatically. A double‑cash‑back offer on Amazon orders is also part of the campaign.

In parallel, Amazon Germany is extending its schufa‑free installment‑payment option to a selected group of marketplace sellers. The scheme allows customers to split purchases into up to twelve interest‑free monthly installments, using internal behavioural and account data instead of traditional credit checks. The rollout is limited to certain merchants and products, with no public list of participants, and aims to affect margins, payout speed and payment‑risk management for both Amazon and its sellers.
