Amazon Kindle Storyteller Award opens 2026 applications for German self‑published authors

The Amazon Kindle Storyteller Award 2026 has opened its application window in Germany. Eligible writers must be 18 or older, publish in German on Kindle Direct Publishing, and submit their works between now and 31 August 2026. The competition welcomes established and emerging authors across all genres.

Winners will receive cash prizes and a publishing contract with Amazon Publishing. Shortlisting combines reader rankings, bestseller data and a jury of publishing professionals, with the final award ceremony slated for 4 November 2026 at the Künstlerhaus in Munich.
