Amazon adds Luna cloud gaming to Prime Video in US and UK
Amazon has integrated its Luna cloud‑gaming service directly into the Prime Video app. A new “Games” tab lets Prime members on Fire TV devices in the United States and the United Kingdom launch titles without a separate app or extra charge. The initial catalog includes high‑profile games such as Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, plus party titles like Clue, Ticket to Ride and Taboo, and Amazon‑produced games.
The rollout is limited to Fire TV hardware for now, but Amazon says the feature will be expanded to additional devices and countries in the coming months. Jeff Gattis, Amazon’s GM of Gaming, said the move is meant to make games as easy to discover and access as movies and series, reducing the time users spend searching for games. New games will be added each month, and the integration is part of Amazon’s broader strategy to turn Prime Video into a one‑stop entertainment hub.
The service is included at no extra cost for existing Prime subscribers, and Amazon aims to reach the large audience that streams video but does not own a console or gaming PC, positioning Luna as a low‑cost alternative amid rising console prices.
