Overview

In late June 2026 Amazon Luna added 15 titles to its Prime Gaming free‑game catalog, keeping them in users' libraries even after a Prime lapse. By the end of July 2026 the service was embedded directly in the Prime Video app on Fire TV devices in the United States and the United Kingdom. A new “Games” tab lets Prime members launch rotating titles—such as Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26, Fallout 4, Fortnite, Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, Alan Wake 2, Sonic Mania and others—without installing Luna separately. The integration supports Bluetooth controllers, mobile gamepads and Alexa voice commands, and initially offers free monthly game gifts to Prime members, including a complimentary PC game.

Jeff Gattis, Amazon’s director of Gaming, said the move aims to raise Luna’s visibility among Amazon’s roughly 200 million Prime subscribers and make games as discoverable as movies. Amazon indicated that the Fire TV rollout will be extended to additional markets in the coming months. Industry observers noted that rising console prices could boost interest in cloud‑gaming services like Luna.
