Amazonas Public Defender and State University Launch Internship and Entrance Exam Selections

The Public Defender's Office of Amazonas (DPE‑AM) held a selection exam on 5 July for 336 law students at the University of Amazonas' technology school in Manaus. Candidates answered objective and subjective questions to fill a reserve roster of interns. Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of R$ 1,050.54, transport allowance of R$ 220, and accident insurance, working 20 hours per week. Results are expected on 9 July (preliminary) and 15 July (final).

The State University of Amazonas (UEA) opened online registration for the Vestibular 2027 and SIS 2026 admission processes, offering a total of 4,412 university places across Manaus and interior campuses. Registration runs from 13 July to 13 August, with a fee deadline of 14 August; fee‑waiver applications are accepted 13‑24 July. Exams are scheduled for 11 October (SIS) and 12‑13 October (Vestibular), with final results slated for 27 November. New courses include Veterinary Medicine in Presidente Figueiredo, Pharmacy in Tefé, and a Computing licence in Iranduba, among others.
