American Airlines offers bonus miles for select business routes

American Airlines is providing targeted AAdvantage Business members with 5,000 bonus miles for each qualifying flight segment to or from five major airports. The eligible locations include Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), and New York area airports: JFK, LaGuardia (LGA), and Newark (EWR).

To qualify, travelers must register for the promotion by December 31, 2026, and ensure flight reservations are ticketed after registration. All eligible segments must be flown by the same deadline. The promotion allows for a maximum of 50,000 bonus miles.

Specific requirements apply to corporate and AAdvantage Business travelers, including the attachment of corporate identifiers or account numbers to the ticket and booking record prior to departure. The offer excludes award travel, Basic Economy, and miles earned through segments not marketed by American Airlines. Promotional miles do not contribute toward elite status or Million Miler qualification.
