American Horror Story 13 premieres with returning cast

The thirteenth season of the anthology series American Horror Story has premiered on Disney+, beginning with three episodes on September 25, 2026. The season is scheduled to run through October 30, 2026.

While the new installment features strong connections to the Coven season, producers have clarified it is not a direct continuation of that specific story arc. Instead, the season aims to incorporate elements of the witches' mythology and various easter eggs to reward long-time viewers while introducing new narrative layers.

The cast features the return of several prominent actors, most notably Jessica Lange, who returns to the series after an eight-year absence. Other returning stars include Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. New cast members joining the production include Joey Pollari, Paul Anthony Kelly, and John Waters.
