American Horror Story: 13 premieres with returning cast

The thirteenth season of the anthology series ‘American Horror Story’, titled ‘13’, has premiered on FX and Disney+. The new season features a reunion of franchise veterans, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, and Angela Bassett.

Critics have largely responded positively to the early episodes, with the season holding an 83% Tomatometer score, specifically praising Jessica Lange’s performance. However, audience reception has been more divided, with the Popcornmeter sitting in the mid-40s.

The plot follows Ben DeSoto, a hospice caretaker with a fear of the number 13, at a New York residential building that connects characters from previous seasons. The season consists of 13 episodes, with new batches of episodes scheduled for release through October 29.
