FX unveils trailer for American Horror Story: 13 crossover season

FX has released the first official trailer for ‘American Horror Story: 13’, a season described by creator Ryan Murphy as a major crossover event. The upcoming 13-episode season aims to unite various characters and storylines from the franchise’s history into a cohesive narrative, which Murphy has compared to ‘The Avengers’.

Returning cast members include Sarah Paulson, who is set to portray six different characters, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, and Emma Roberts. The trailer features iconic characters such as Elsa Mars from ‘Freak Show’ and Cordelia Goode from ‘Coven’.

To promote the premiere, FX is hosting an immersive, interactive activation in Los Angeles at Nya Studios EAST on September 18 and 19. This ticketed event for adults will allow fans to navigate themed environments inspired by previous seasons, such as the ‘Murder House’ and the ‘Asylum’. The new season is scheduled to conclude with a finale on October 29.
