FX sets September 24 premiere for American Horror Story Season 13
FX announced that the 13th season of the horror anthology series American Horror Story will debut on Thursday, September 24, 2026. The new installment will air on the FX network and will be available the following day on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
The season reunites a large portion of the franchise’s legacy cast, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman. It also brings back the "Coven" storyline from the 2013 season, with Paulson reprising Cordelia Goode and other witches such as Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe and Emma Roberts appearing in new set photos from Manhattan.
New additions to the ensemble include transgender model Alex Consani, actress Avantika Vandanapu, and pop star Ariana Grande, who was initially confirmed but later withdrew because of scheduling conflicts with her tour. Other returning faces are John Carroll Lynch, Mat Fraser, John Waters and Mena Suvari. Promotional material features the tagline “Surprise, b****. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me,” echoing a line from the original Coven season.
The announcement highlights the series’ long‑running success, with more than 700 million streaming hours worldwide and multiple Emmy nominations since its 2011 debut.
