America's Cup: New documentary and Naples preparations

The 37th America's Cup has inspired new media and local preparations. A new documentary titled ‘Sail’, directed by Oscar winners Frank Marshall and Evan Hayes, provides an IMAX-certified look at the competition. The film explores the intense rivalries and technical challenges of the AC75 vessels, featuring key figures such as Grant Dalton of Emirates Team New Zealand, Sir Ben Ainslie, Sir Jim Ratcliffe of INEOS Group, and Max Sirena of Luna Rossa.

In Naples, preparations are underway for upcoming sailing events. Temporary platforms covering approximately 1,000 square meters are being constructed along the via Caracciolo seafront to facilitate dock-in and dock-out operations for AC40 vessels. These structures, managed by Sport e Salute, will accommodate spectators and authorities during the preliminary regattas. The event is being highlighted by Italian President Sergio Mattarella, who noted the city's deep historical connection to the sea.
