Ameya Eitaro launches limited-edition Halloween candy assortment

Ameya Eitaro, a specialized candy brand by the historic confectioner Eitaro Sohonpo, has launched a limited-edition ‘Halloween Eitaro Ame Assortment’. The product features six varieties of candy, including umeboshi (red and yellow), black sugar, matcha, black tea, and vanilla milk.

The candies are crafted using traditional ‘arhei-to’ techniques, where sugar and starch syrup are kneaded at high temperatures to achieve a distinct gloss and transparency. The assortment is sold in seasonal Halloween-themed packaging.

The collection is available from September 1 to October 31, 2026, at the Ameya Eitaro locations in Isetan Shinjuku and Ginza Mitsukoshi, as well as through the official online store. The retail price is 993 yen including tax.
