Amit Shah to attend Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav closing ceremony

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to participate in the closing ceremony of the three day Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav in Nava Raipur. The event marks the 26th anniversary of the state's establishment.

During his visit, Shah will inaugurate the Artemis Shanti Hospital in Raipur and the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Park (Peepal Van) in Nava Raipur. He is also expected to release the 33rd installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, a welfare scheme designed to provide financial assistance to married women in the state.

In related celebrations, Forest and Climate Change Minister Kedar Kashyap inspected departmental exhibitions at the Rajyotsav site. The displays highlight tribal culture, forest produce, and conservation efforts, including the achievements of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, which has seen millions of saplings planted across the region.
