Amitabh Bachchan shares family memories on Kaun Banega Crorepati

During an appearance on the quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan shared personal reflections on his upbringing and family history. In conversation with guest Madhuri Dixit, Bachchan spoke about his mother, Teji Bachchan, noting her discipline regarding cleanliness and her role in providing maternal guidance. He also touched upon his parents’ inter-caste marriage, noting that his mother came from a Sikh family while his father, the poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, was from Allahabad.

The episode also featured a light-hearted moment when Madhuri Dixit presented a throwback clip of Bachchan attempting to recreate her iconic ‘Ek Do Teen’ dance moves in his 1989 film ‘Toofan’. Bachchan reacted with self-deprecating humor, laughing at the footage of his performance.
