Amílcar Olán attended wedding of alleged criminal leader Hernán Bermúdez

Photographs have surfaced showing Amílcar Olán, an associate of Andrés ‘Andy’ Manuel López Beltrán, attending the wedding of the daughter of Hernán Bermúdez Requena. Bermúdez Requena, known as ‘El Abuelo,’ is the alleged leader of the criminal group ‘La Barredora’ and a former security secretary in Tabasco under Adán Augusto López Hernández.

Olán has been linked to various companies, including Portacelis Gas and Oil, which faced accusations of tax evasion through fuel smuggling in March 2026. While the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) denied the existence of an arrest warrant against Olán for organized crime or tax fraud in September 2026, his presence at the social event has drawn renewed attention.

Bermúdez Requena was apprehended in Paraguay in September 2025 and is currently incarcerated in the El Altiplano maximum-security prison in the State of Mexico.
