Amélia Veiga elected Director of University of Porto faculty

Amélia Veiga has been elected Director of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP) for the 2026-2030 term. Previously serving as Sub-Director since November 2022, Veiga's administration will focus on establishing the faculty as a ‘+Ecological Faculty’.

Her strategic plan is built upon four pillars: education and student well-being, research and citizen science, community and regional relations, and sustainable governance. To evaluate progress, the faculty plans to conduct an ‘Ecological Audit’ in 2027 and 2028, utilizing both internal self-assessment and external evaluation to measure the institution's contribution to the common good.
