Ana Navarro disputes 'The View' co-hosts over Donald Trump dinner jokes

Ana Navarro engaged in a heated exchange with 'The View' co-hosts Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin regarding the ethics of dining with Donald Trump. The tension arose during a discussion about public figures who have recently attended dinners with the president.

Navarro rejected the idea of sharing a meal with Trump, stating there was “no way in hell” she would do so while his administration conducts immigration raids. She characterized the administration's actions against Latino communities as “criminal” and argued that accepting such an invitation would serve to “normalize” him.

In response, Haines and Griffin suggested that face-to-face interactions could potentially influence policy. The conversation became particularly tense when Haines made a joke comparing a potential dinner between Navarro and Trump to a scene from 'Lady and the Tramp', which Navarro interrupted, insisting, “This is not funny!”

Comedian Rosie O'Donnell later expressed support for Navarro on social media, applauding her refusal to joke about the matter.
