ANA to reconsider ANA Super Flyers Card membership tier proposal
ANA has announced it is reconsidering its proposed revision to the ANA Super Flyers Card (SFC) membership system following feedback from users. The company plans to provide updated details regarding the changes by the end of September 2026.
The initial proposal aimed to divide SFC members into two tiers, ‘SFC PLUS’ and ‘SFC LITE’, based on annual transaction amounts via ANA Card and ANA Pay. Under the original plan, members with annual transactions of 3 million yen or more would qualify for ‘SFC PLUS’, maintaining benefits such as ANA lounge access and Star Alliance Gold status. Conversely, those with less than 3 million yen would be classified as ‘SFC LITE’, which would result in the loss of lounge access and a downgrade to Star Alliance Silver status.
While the original schedule intended to evaluate transaction amounts between December 2026 and December 2027 to implement the new service in April 2028, the current review process means that specific conditions and timelines remain subject to change.
