Anas extends alternating one‑way traffic on Sicily’s SS113 and Campania’s SS145

On Sicily, Anas extended the alternating one‑way order on State Road 113 between kilometre 92+000 and 92+400 (the stretch from Gliaca di Piraino to Gioiosa Marea) until 7 August. The decree permits minibuses under six tonnes to maintain public‑transport links to Gioiosa Marea, Brolo and Patti. Mayors Giusi La Galia and Salvatore Cipriano thanked the contractor Magistro and said they continue to coordinate with Anas to restore normal traffic. Regional assessor Giosuè Guardina said monitoring of the situation will continue.

In Campania, Anas announced that from 1 August to the second half of September a single alternating one‑way will operate on the 40‑km SS145 “Sorrentina” near kilometre 36.300 because of landslide risk. The plan was presented at a meeting in Naples with State Undersecretary Tullio Ferrante, Anas Campania head Barbara Di Franco and the mayors of Sorrento, Massa Lubrense, Sant’Agnello, Vico Equense and Piano di Sorrento. Night‑time works will resume on 14 September, funded by a €5.6 million investment.
