Anas joins Motus-E to advance electric mobility

Anas, the Italian road and highway network operator under the Ferrovie dello Stato (FS) Group, has joined Motus-E, the Italian association representing key players in electric mobility and transport decarbonization.

Through this membership, Anas aims to participate in the planning of charging infrastructures and the development of sustainable mobility. The company's strategic plan includes installing charging stations in service areas managed by Anas, as well as implementing LED lighting and photovoltaic systems in tunnels.

Claudio Andrea Gemme, CEO of Anas, stated that the transition to low-emission mobility is a critical challenge for the country and that roads are essential spaces for building a sustainable future. Fabio Pressi, President of Motus-E, noted that Anas's experience and extensive road network will be vital for effectively planning investments to support the transition of the national vehicle fleet.
