Aníbal Mosa delays Colo Colo contract renewals
Aníbal Mosa, president of Blanco y Negro, has stated that Colo Colo will not rush into contract renewals for players or staff until the club achieves its championship objectives. Using the metaphor, “When the pig is already cooked inside the oven, then we can talk,” Mosa emphasized a cautious approach to avoid the mistakes of the previous season.
Mosa noted that while the team currently holds a 14-point lead in the standings, nothing has been officially won yet. He stressed that the focus must remain on upcoming matches, such as the game against Concepción, rather than off-field negotiations.
Regarding specific personnel, Mosa identified coach Fernando Ortiz as the primary priority for renewal once goals are met. He also addressed questions about Arturo Vidal, acknowledging him as a key figure but maintaining that discussions regarding his future, along with other players like Juanito and Pedrito, will only occur after securing trophies.
