Anchorage Digital enables institutional access to Frgmnt stablecoins
Frgmnt has partnered with Anchorage Digital to provide institutional clients with access to its fUSD stablecoin and sfUSD staking product. Through Anchorage Digital’s existing custody infrastructure, funds, corporate treasuries, and fintech companies can hold, mint, stake, unstake, and redeem these assets without requiring separate custody arrangements.
Frgmnt operates on the Base network, a layer-2 Ethereum network. The protocol’s model involves minting fUSD against USDC, with the backing deployed across selected onchain lending markets. Users seeking exposure to the rewards generated by these strategies can stake their fUSD to receive sfUSD.
Frgmnt CEO and co-founder Aurélien Roussel stated that the partnership aims to make onchain financial products accessible through infrastructure that meets the operational and custody requirements of institutional users.
