Ancona launches family support program for residents

The Municipality of Ancona has launched the ‘Interventi per la famiglia’ (Family Interventions) program, utilizing funding from the National Social Policy Fund, the Marche Region, and municipal resources. The initiative provides economic support through three distinct channels designed to assist resident families with an ISEE not exceeding 20,668.26 euros.

The three lines of support include: assistance for newborns in 2025 (with increased amounts for families with minor children facing severe disabilities), aid for large families with at least three dependent children and incomes up to 5,000 euros, and support for single parents following separation or divorce.

Mayor Daniele Silvetti highlighted the importance of supporting single-parent households, specifically noting the financial challenges faced by separated fathers regarding child maintenance and housing transitions. Applications must be submitted by 1:00 PM on October 7 via hand delivery, registered mail, or certified email (PEC).
