Ancona municipal family support initiatives
Overview
The Municipality of Ancona has introduced new initiatives to support families and child development. Initially, the city launched ‘Il Tempo di Crescere’ (The Time to Grow) as part of the ‘Genitori in FormAzione’ project. This program, supported by the Marche Region and I. C. A. R. O. Following this, the municipality introduced the ‘Interventi per la famiglia’ (Family Interventions) program. Funded by the National Social Policy Fund, the Marche Region, and municipal resources, this initiative provides direct economic assistance to residents with specific income thresholds. The support is divided into three categories: assistance for newborns, aid for large families with at least three dependent children, and financial support for single parents navigating separation or divorce.
