Ancona: Two teenagers injured in car accident
Two 17-year-old girls were injured in a road accident in Ancona during the early hours of October 25, 2026. The incident occurred near the Tavernelle exit, where a minicar reportedly lost control on wet asphalt due to rain.
The vehicle swerved across the roadway before colliding violently with a guardrail. While the cause is under investigation, the occupants suggested that another vehicle might have struck them before they lost control, though authorities have yet to confirm this.
Emergency responders, including firefighters and the Red Cross, treated the teenagers at the scene. Both were transported to the Torrette regional hospital with moderate injuries, including one reported case of mild head trauma. Their conditions are currently not considered serious.
