Junta de Andalucía appoints new provincial delegates and intervenes in chief auditor post

The Andalusian Government reshuffled its territorial representation, appointing new provincial delegates for Almería, Huelva and Jaén. Francisco Góngora (Almería), Berta Centeno (Huelva) and Erik Domínguez (Jaén) – all presidents of the regional People's Party – replace previous office‑holders, while Mercedes Colombo remains as delegate for Cádiz and Antonio Jesús Granados continues in Granada.

In the sub‑regional tier, Javier Ros Rodríguez was confirmed to continue as sub‑delegate of the Government of Andalusia in the Campo de Gibraltar, ensuring stability in the strategic Algeciras area.

After the resignation of Miguel Ángel Figueroa amid the Leire Díez corruption investigation, the cabinet installed Sofía Rull Rodríguez as the new interventor general of the Junta. Rull, an economist and career civil servant since 2008, previously served in the Andalusian Court of Auditors and the Spanish Economic and Social Council.
