Andalusia hydraulic projects stalled by administrative error
The PSOE has criticized the Andalusian government for an administrative error that has halted 13 hydraulic projects in Almería, valued at 37 million euros. These projects, which include wastewater treatment plants in Huércal-Overa, Paterna del Río, and several other locations, were reportedly not published in the Official Journal of the European Union as required by community regulations.
As a result, the regional government must restart the entire administrative procedure. The PSOE has called for the appearance of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, to explain the situation. The party noted that this error affects the execution of 325 million euros allocated for such works in Andalusia and could negatively impact local municipalities, construction companies, and employment.
