Andalusian Government Funds El Ejido Training and Opens 100 Environmental Agency Jobs
The Andalusian Institute of Public Administration approved a grant of €103,450 for the municipality of El Ejido to support staff training programmes for local public employees. The funding is part of a nearly €3 million allocation distributed to 29 local entities across the region, covering services such as police, fire, garden maintenance, early‑childhood education and laboratory technicians.
Separately, the Junta de Andalucía approved the 2026 Public Employment Offer for the regional Environment and Water Agency, authorising a total of 100 new positions to be filled over the next three years. The vacancies include technical, specialist and operational roles, with a minimum 10 % reservation for people with disabilities. Specific posts range from technical staff and water management specialists to wildlife resource guards and maintenance officers. The detailed selection procedures will be published later in the official bulletin.
