Andalusian Government Grants €3 Million Training Aid to Granada Local Entities

The Andalusian Institute of Public Administration (IAAP), under the regional Ministry of Justice, Local Administration and Public Function, approved 2026 training subsidies for public‑sector staff in seven entities within Granada province. The aid, amounting to €3 million, will support 29 municipalities, districts and inter‑municipal bodies to deliver face‑to‑face or online courses. Funds are paid in three installments – at least 25 % in advance, another 25 % at the start of training and the balance after completion and verification. The program, updated in 2024, allows entities to run courses throughout the year, including specialised training for firefighters, police, garden workers, early‑childhood educators and laboratory staff.

The objective is to improve the qualifications of local government employees, enhancing public services across Andalusia.
