Andalusian Health Service announces hospital infrastructure project and job openings
The Andalusian Health Service (SAS) has awarded a contract to Molt Inversiones SL for the drafting of a comprehensive reform project for the critical electrical infrastructure at the Hospital San Juan de la Cruz in Úbeda. The contract, valued at 81,830.47 euros, includes work direction, execution oversight, and safety coordination over a nine-month period.
The project aims to address the critical obsolescence of the hospital's current electrical system, which is over 50 years old. Planned works, with an estimated total budget of 1,248,900.05 euros, include replacing the low-voltage general panel and renewing the emergency generation system with two new generators. These upgrades are necessary to meet increasing electrical demand and ensure supply reliability.
Separately, the SAS has opened applications for four permanent positions within the Jerez, Costa Noroeste, and Sierra de Cádiz Health Management Area. The vacancies include two Family Physician roles, one Administrative Technician position, and one Industrial Technical Engineer position. Application deadlines for these roles range from early to mid-November.
