Andalusian political groups demand Ceuta migrant minor hosting

Andalusian political groups are demanding that the regional government, led by Juan Manuel Moreno, fulfill existing agreements to host migrant minors from Ceuta. Following a mass influx in the autonomous city, groups including the PSOE, Adelante Andalucía, and Por Andalucía have called for the implementation of protocols signed in 2019.

Opposition groups have signaled a willingness to take legal action if the regional government refuses to comply with the distribution of unaccompanied minors, particularly as Ceuta's capacity is exceeded. Additionally, Adelante Andalucía has introduced a legislative proposal aimed at eliminating monthly rental subsidies of 2,000 euros currently provided to high-ranking officials within the Junta de Andalucía.
