Andorra hosts two high‑profile bike events: Juli Barrero's album tour and La Purito marathon

Catalan singer‑songwriter Juli Barrero will promote his forthcoming album Gas (2027) by traveling on an electric bicycle from Andorra la Vella to Barcelona between 11 and 26 August 2027. The 14‑stop route includes towns such as Lleida, Tarragona and Sitges, and the journey will be filmed with videographer Héctor Romance for a documentary.

The Purito cyclosportive in Andorra marked its tenth edition, drawing 2,200 participants from ten countries. The non‑competitive march, guaranteed through 2028, featured Olympic medalist Samuel Sánchez, former pro Alejandro Valverde and other notable cyclists. Organisers stressed a festive atmosphere and added extra hydration stations for the riders.
