Andorra hotel occupancy reaches 70% in July as Andbank launches €200 million Spain hotel fund

Hotel occupancy in Andorra rose to 70.13% in July, up 3.95 percentage points from the same month in 2025, after weaker May (40% occupancy) and June (50.6%). The Union Hotelera d'Andorra highlighted the improvement while warning that stabilising demand throughout the year remains a challenge and that August will be decisive for the summer balance.

Andbank and Renta 4 announced new investment vehicles aimed at the mid‑scale hotel market in Spain. Andbank’s Actyus Hospitality Fund II plans to raise around €200 million to acquire five to six three‑ and four‑star hotels, primarily in the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands and the Costa del Sol, targeting a portfolio of roughly 1,000 rooms. The fund follows Andbank’s earlier Atalaya vehicle and is led by Max Hap, the bank’s new director of hotel investment. Renta 4 also created a venture capital vehicle to invest in a hotel project in Málaga together with Grupo Lar and Westmont Hospitality Group.
