André-Frank Zambo Anguissa contract talks with Napoli stall

Negotiations regarding a contract extension for Napoli midfielder André-Frank Zambo Anguissa have reportedly stalled due to financial disagreements. While the Cameroonian international is under contract until June 2027, discussions between Napoli's sporting director, Giovanni Manna, and the player's agent, Maxime Nana, have not yielded significant progress.

The primary point of contention is salary. Anguissa currently earns approximately 3.6 million euros per year, but is reportedly seeking around 6 million euros per season for a new deal. Napoli management has indicated a willingness to part ways with the player if an agreement cannot be reached.

As a result of these complications, major Serie A clubs Inter Milan and Juventus are closely monitoring the situation. Inter Milan has maintained a long-standing interest in the midfielder, having tracked him since his time at Olympique Marseille. Both clubs may look to capitalize on the situation if a contract extension fails to materialize, potentially seeking to acquire the experienced player in the future.
