André Rieu and Regal Vienez announce upcoming musical performances in Romania

The musical landscape in Romania will feature significant classical performances. The “Regal Vienez” national tour is returning to Oradea, bringing a Viennese ballroom atmosphere to the region. The concert will feature a collaboration between the Orchestra di Teatro D’Opera Italiana and the Vox Opera Orchestra, conducted by Bogdan Costache. The program includes works by the Strauss dynasty, Franz Lehár, and Emmerich Kálmán, alongside traditional carols performed by the Vox Opera Choir and choreography by Vlad Sebastian.

Additionally, Dutch violinist and conductor André Rieu, known as the “King of Waltz,” is scheduled to perform at the BT-Arena in Cluj-Napoca on October 21 and 22, 2027. Rieu will be accompanied by the 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra. Tickets for these performances are expected to be available through Eventim starting November 5, 2026.
