André Rieu concert tour announcements

Overview

Violinist and conductor André Rieu has announced upcoming performances in Eastern Europe for 2027.

In October 2026, it was announced that Rieu and his 60-member Johann Strauss Orchestra would perform a three-hour concert in Sofia, Bulgaria, on March 10, 2027, at Arena 8888. The program is expected to include opera, musicals, film music, and classical works.

Later in October 2026, details were released regarding two concerts scheduled for October 21 and 22, 2027, at the BT-Arena in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Rieu, often referred to as the “King of Waltz,” will be accompanied by the Johann Strauss Orchestra, which is described as the largest private orchestra in the world. The program for the Romanian dates is expected to feature opera arias, musicals, famous soundtracks, classical masterpieces, and traditional melodies.

Tickets for the Cluj-Napoca performances were scheduled to become available through the eventim.ro network on November 5, 2026.
