Andrej Petrov to deliver reform plan to SDSM leadership

Professor Andrej Petrov has announced that initiators of a new political platform will deliver a formal plan to the leadership of the SDSM party this week. The document aims to outline a specific dynamic for continuing the party's internal processes and addressing its current state.

During an appearance on 4TV’s ‘Night Studio’, Petrov expressed concern over the party's declining support, noting that recent election results and polls suggest a significant drop in popularity. He argued that the party must undergo structural changes and prepare for the next parliamentary election cycle to avoid further decline.

Petrov also addressed criticisms regarding the initiative's organization, rejecting claims that it is an informal or undemocratic ‘hotel coalition’. He defended the practice of political figures meeting in public venues like hotels for discussions, while criticizing the practice of communicating political stances from abroad.
