Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor testifies to being chased by masked man

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York, has testified in court regarding an incident in May where he was allegedly chased by a man wearing a balaclava near the Sandringham estate. The former prince stated that while walking his dogs near his Marsh Farm home, he encountered an ‘out of place’ man who, upon realizing the prince's identity, began to sprint after his vehicle.

Alex Jenkinson, 39, has been charged with using threatening, abusive, or insulting behavior toward Mountbatten-Windsor during the confrontation in Wolferton. Suffolk Police are also seeking a civil Stalking Protection Order against Jenkinson, citing evidence from the prince and searches of the suspect's phone. Jenkinson is currently contesting the order.

Separate reports suggest that the former prince's recent loss of royal titles and his removal from Sandringham were influenced by internal palace discussions. Sources claim that Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Queen Camilla were influential figures in advocating for the removal of his working royal status to protect the future of the monarchy and Prince William's succession.
