Andri Mulyono named suspect in BGN electric motorcycle procurement scandal
Indonesia's Attorney General's Office announced that Andri Mulyono, commissioner and controller of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal, is a suspect in a corruption case involving the procurement of electric motorcycles for Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN). The investigation found that Mulyono colluded with commitment‑making officials to inflate prices and secured full payment based on manipulated handover documents. The scandal concerns the free nutritious meals (MBG) program for fiscal years 2025‑2026. The office cited two pieces of evidence in designating him a suspect, adding him to a list that already includes several former BGN leaders.
The case highlights alleged price markup and irregularities in the procurement process, prompting calls for greater transparency in government contracting.
