Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026 to focus on biodiversity in Turin

The Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026 is scheduled to take place in Turin from September 24 to 27. Organized by Slow Food, the event focuses on the theme ‘Biodiversity – Be Diversity’ to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Slow Food Italia.

Various Italian organizations will participate to highlight regional excellence and sustainable practices. Ismea will host sessions on olive oil markets, Geographical Indications (DOP and IGP), and the National Bank of Agricultural Lands. The CIA (Italian Farmers) will feature tastings, workshops, and show cooking to promote Italian agricultural heritage.

Andriani Società Benefit, through its Terre Bradaniche division, will showcase its legume supply chain, which involves approximately 250 farms in Puglia and Basilicata. The company is emphasizing regenerative agriculture and has initiated FoodChain ID certification for over 110 farms. Additionally, Calabria will be represented by more than 60 exhibitors showcasing regional products.
