Andy Diouf receives first France national team call-up

Inter Milan midfielder Andy Diouf has received his first pre-call-up to the French national team under manager Zinedine Zidane. The 23-year-old Frenchman has seen a rapid rise in performance, transitioning from a versatile midfielder to a highly effective right-sided wing-back.

Following a strong start to the season, including decisive assists in Serie A and a standout performance in the Champions League, Diouf has been included in the preliminary squad for the Nations League fixtures scheduled between late September and early October. One notable upcoming match includes France facing Italy on October 2 at the Stade de France.

Diouf, who has embraced a new role on the right flank following tactical shifts by Cristian Chivu, has become a key solution for Inter. In recent interviews, he expressed his desire to showcase his skills through one-on-one play. He is expected to be a primary choice for Inter's upcoming match against Udinese while teammate Djed Spence recovers from injury.
