Angelo Corghi missing in Grosseto, searches continue

Eighty‑year‑old Angelo Corghi vanished in Grosseto on 3 August after leaving the local INPS office. He was last seen near the “Compro oro” shop on via Matteotti, wearing a blue polo, blue jeans, a white hat and a cane. His mobile phone signal was briefly detected on via Aurelia north before disappearing again.

Searches have been intensified by the Prefecture of Grosseto, local police and Carabinieri, including the deployment of molecular detection dogs. The family has repeatedly appealed for information, urging anyone with sightings to call the Carabinieri station (0564 390041) or the emergency number 112. A possible sighting was reported on 5 August near Roccastrada on the provincial road to Paganico, but no confirmation has been obtained.

Authorities continue to canvass Grosseto and neighboring municipalities, urging the public to report any clues that could help locate Corghi.
