Angola agricultural growth could increase GDP contribution

Agricultural production in Angola is showing growth in both quantity and quality, which could increase the sector's contribution to the national GDP. Agronomist Adérito Costa noted that while recent improvements demonstrate progressive evolution, several constraints continue to limit the productive capacity of farmers.

Key challenges identified include a lack of technical and scientific knowledge among some producers, as well as difficulties in acquiring necessary inputs and materials. Overcoming these obstacles is considered essential to consolidating recent gains and allowing agriculture to play a more significant role in the national economy.
