Angola attracts major infrastructure investments from EU and BADEA
Significant investments are flowing into Angola's infrastructure and economic development sectors. The European Union's “Europe Team” has mobilized approximately 2 billion euros for projects related to the Lobito Corridor.
In a separate development, the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) has signed a 35 million euro financing agreement with the Omatapalo Group. This marks BADEA's first commercial financing transaction with a private company in Angola. The funds are designated for the acquisition of construction equipment, machinery, and vehicles to support the group's strategic infrastructure projects.
