Angola Libre school complex inaugurated in Congo

In Congo, President Denis Sassou Nguesso inaugurated the Angola Libre school complex in Brazzaville. The 40,000 m² facility is designed to accommodate 10,000 students across preschool, primary, middle, and high school levels. The complex includes 100 classrooms, scientific laboratories, media libraries, administrative buildings, and various sports facilities for football, basketball, and martial arts.

In Gabon, the Council of Ministers has implemented several social and health initiatives. The government created the General Directorate for the Promotion of Women, Equity, and Gender Equality to enhance women's economic and political empowerment. Additionally, the 'École ZEN' national school sanitation program has been integrated into the 2026-2030 National Growth and Development Plan following studies highlighting student well-being challenges, including food insecurity and mental health concerns.

Furthermore, Gabon has launched its national 'Octobre Rose' campaign. Led by Health Minister Elsa Nkana Joséphine Ayo-Bivigou and First Lady Zita Oligui Nguema, the initiative focuses on raising awareness and providing free screening for female cancers, particularly breast cancer, across all health regions.
