Animal welfare organizations host adoption events in Mexico and Spain

Various animal welfare organizations are hosting community events to promote responsible pet ownership and animal adoption.

In Hermosillo, Mexico, Fundación Ladridos will hold its second ‘Paseo Masivo de Lomitos’ at Parque Madero on October 4. The event aims to raise awareness about adoption and promote pet-friendly spaces. The walk will feature music, family activities, and dogs available for adoption. Additionally, approximately 40 volunteers will provide support for stray animals in the area, and attendees are encouraged to donate kibble.

In Armilla, Spain, the sixth edition of the Granada Adoption Fair will take place at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Organized by the Federación Plataforma por una Ordenanza Animal Justa, the fair features 17 animal welfare associations working to find homes for abandoned dogs, cats, and other animals. The event includes solidarity markets, workshops, and activities supported by over 80 sponsors to foster community engagement and responsible pet ownership.
