ANIMASYROS 2026 program officially presented in Athens

The official program for ANIMASYROS 2026 has been presented at the European Parliament Office in Greece in Athens. The festival, scheduled to take place from September 21 to 27, 2026, is described as having the most extensive program in its history.

Events will be held in Athens and across seven islands in the Cyclades, including Syros. The program features award-winning films, international animation experts, educational workshops, and market activities. The presentation included remarks from various officials, including ANIMASYROS President Vasilis K. Karamitsanis and representatives from the European Parliament, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and several foreign embassies, including Ireland, which is the honored country for the 2026 edition.
