The 19th Animasyros International Animation Festival, themed around the 200th anniversary of Hermoupolis, Syros, concluded on September 27. Featuring over 280 films from 50 countries, the event included competitive categories such as the International Competition, won by Anna Mantzaris for ‘Please’, and the Greek Competition, won by Konstantinos Demis for ‘The Dog’. The festival also serves as a professional hub through its Animation Agora Days. Screenings were expanded to seven other islands, including Andros, Milos, and Santorini, in collaboration with the Cyclades Chamber of Commerce.
