Animate Lasic Fukuoka Tenjin to open in Kyushu

Animate Holdings has announced the grand opening of Animate Lasic Fukuoka Tenjin, the largest Animate store in the Kyushu region, scheduled for October 24, 2026. To celebrate the launch, the retailer is implementing several promotional campaigns.

Collaborations include a partnership with the local confectionery brand Niwaka Senbei to produce special themed sweets. The store will also feature a participatory project titled ‘Oshi Menta,’ where customers can decorate a wall with illustrations and names of their favorite characters. Additionally, the opening will showcase signed items from various celebrities and offer exclusive digital content for the Animate app.

VTuber Juufuutei Raden from the hololive ReGLOSS group has been appointed as the grand opening promotional ambassador. The celebration includes the release of limited-edition merchandise featuring specially drawn illustrations by artist Kaomin, such as acrylic stands and badges. Raden will also provide in-store announcements at the Fukuoka Mitsukoshi location through mid-November.
